What’s a decent price for a Elderbrock crossram Aluminum intake?
What’s a decent price for a two four barrel Elderbrock Intake. The four barrells are side by side. It’s for a small block chevy. The only numbers I could find on it are X-G8 I think its called a Crossram intake. Any advice would be appreciated. I’m thinking of selling it and don’t wanna get completely ripped off cause I have No idea what it might be worth.
Ask about $350 for it. Things you need to know are: the type of carburetors on it, and the size (cfm) of them. What condition the carbs are in. Do they have linkages with them to make them work or is it missing?
Not many people run the crossram intakes anymore, and you may be hard pressed to find a buyer. If you go to some place such as sumitt racing.com or jegs.com you will find your intake new, and you can figure the price of the carbs new. Take that price and cut it in half, and that is about what you might get for it. You could run it on a site like racingjunk.com and find a buyer. Good Luck!
